Yellowstone Caldera Volcano

Found in Yellowstone National Park in the USA, Yellowstone Caldera is a supervolcano and it measures 55 x 72 kilometres.

Old Faithful Geyser

Old Faithful, named in 1870 is a geyser which basically ejects a hot spring of water into the air.

The Yellowstone Caldera volcano is not considered to be extinct is it said to be dormant or sleeping. Lava hasn't erupted for from it for over 70,000 years.

Other facts about the Yellowstone Caldera include:
