Volcanoes are
fascinating, they are
basically an opening in
the Earth's crust or
surface. Mountains are
formed next to these
opening due to the lava
spilling out over a long
period of time.
We have listed some of
the more well known
Volcanoes and included
some facts and pictures
about them.

have what are called a
caldera, which isn't to

volcanic crater, it is
land that has collapsed
after a volcanic
eruption.
